ABOUT US

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

                     Last updated 21 August 2008

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by Rosie Holidays.
Prices, tours, itineraries, airline schedules, resort/room facilities, car, cruise, ferry and rail information provided is subject to alteration with or without notification. All prices are in Australian Dollars except where noted.

Deposits and Final Payments. A non-refundable deposit of $165 per person is required within 7 days of confirmation. The balance of payment where applicable is payable no later than 30 days prior to departure, or in some instances earlier, when special supplier/airfare conditions apply. Should the deposit or balance of payment not be received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel all reservations. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Festivals and Events. Seasonal surcharges may apply throughout the year for special events, festivals or conferences, which may alter the price indicated within the brochure. Prices will be finalized and confirmed at time of booking and may be updated throughout the year as Rosie Holidays is advised.

Goods and Services Tax (GST). All prices are inclusive of Australian GST where applicable.

Price Guarantee. The price of your holiday is only guaranteed once full payment is received.

Credit Card Payments. All payment transactions will incur an additional fee if paid by credit card. This fee is dependent on the type of credit card and transaction amount, and is non-refundable. Details are available on application (at time of booking).

Late Booking Acceptance. Subject to availability and approval, late bookings made within 30 days of departure will only be accepted if full payment is received by Rosie Holidays at the time of reservation. Additional courier services may be needed to process late bookings, for which a non-refundable $25 per service fee applies and will be added to the package price. Should the booking require a call-out, an additional non-refundable fee of $25 per call applies.

Airfare. Holiday package airfares are based on the use of Special Inclusive Tour Airfares and special conditions may apply. Some airfares have limited availability and validity, or are required to be booked and paid for in full, by a certain date and/or prior to 30 days, for your travel. Airfare cancellation charges are additional and are governed as per current air traffic rules and regulations. For applicable airfare prices, conditions and charges, please check with your travel agent or Rosie Holidays at time of booking. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a cancellation of the airline booking.

Amendments. An amendment of your travel booking may incur amendment fees. Amendments will incur a non-refundable fee of $25 per amendment. An amendment to a booking may also incur cancellation fees from suppliers. If a reissue of travel documents (including airline tickets) is required after the original travel documents have been issued, a non-refundable fee of $25 per international booking will be charged, in addition to any charges, courier fees and/or amendment fees levied by the suppliers such as airlines, hotels or ground operators.

Cancellations and Refunds. Fees will be charged if you cancel or terminate your booking. The fees include the non-refundable deposit plus all fees levied by suppliers such as hotels, airlines and ground operators, up to 100% of the holiday price. The non-issuance of an invoice or the non-payment of a deposit will not exempt passengers from these cancellation and administrative penalties. Reinstated bookings will be considered as new bookings, therefore normal fees and charges apply accordingly. There will be no refund after travel has commenced or for any unused inclusions such as accommodation, transfers, meals or tours.

Land Only Service Fee. A non-refundable service fee of $25 per international booking may be applied to international land only arrangements with a minimum of 4 nights or $500 value, where the airfare has not been purchased through Rosie Holidays.

Baggage. Passengers are entitled to carry onboard one piece of cabin baggage. Please note security conditions for onboard baggage apply – please check with your travel agent or visit www.dotars.gov.au for updated security information. Passengers are also entitled to check in one piece of baggage. Please note size and weight restrictions apply for carry on and check in baggage. Any excess baggage charges are the passenger’s responsibility. On domestic flights, inter-island seaplane flights, cruises or ferries, greater baggage restrictions may apply and passengers should check at time of booking. Rosie Holidays cannot be held responsible for excess baggage charges or baggage unable to be carried due to restrictions.

Passport, Visas and Health.

All international passengers require a machine readable passport, and it is the responsibility of each passenger to have a passport and appropriate Visas valid for the entire duration of their trip. Many countries require that passports are valid for a minimum of 6 months after date of re-entry to Australia. Passengers should check with embassies or consulates of the countries in which they intend to transit or travel from, for any entry or exit visa requirements. It is essential to ensure that your travel consultant advises Rosie Holidays passport details of all passengers travelling and an Australian telephone number or address where you can be reached prior to departure from Australia. We recommend that you check the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website (www.dfat.gov.au) prior to booking any travel arrangements, for the most up to date travel information. Some vaccinations may be recommended some period in advance of traveling. Please contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements as well as any international restrictions regarding travelling with prescribed medicines.

Please note, the supply of Alcoholic Beverages to persons under the age of 21years (Minor) is strictly prohibited in Fiji. Documentation of identification is required, including driver’s license, passport or identification issued by an education institution, which contains a photograph and date of birth.

This information is subject to alteration without notification. Maps and photographs are based on itineraries planned at the time of publication of this brochure and for operation reasons may not reflect the routing of your holiday. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to the actual room type featured in the itinerary. Specific bedding configuration cannot be guaranteed. Room rate includes existing bedding in room only.
